Bonnie and I have been talking for years about her coming back to teach another class and we are both so excited that the planets have finally aligned and it is happening! We are fortunate and blessed to have her since Bonnie very rarely teaches these days as she is so busy creating beautiful Bas Relief works of art across the country for her lucky clients.
Bonnie will be teaching this career level training workshop sharing product knowledge and sculpting techniques she has developed and used for the past 20+ years on walls, niches, and art panels. Most of each day will be spent in hands on endeavors building, sculpting and finishing your take home creations as well as learning to manage this unique creative process on larger surfaces as we work together to create leafed trees on mock wall surfaces. Bonnie will also dedicate critical time to discuss the business of Sculpting Bas Relief, marketing, and working with clients, designers and the building industry. The final day of class will be finishing day with Donna Phelps joining us to share a variety of techniques and products that will allow you to style your pieces to fit your market - from traditional to transitional to modern! Multiple pieces of varying size will be completed in class.
This workshop is meant for professional artists who want to pursue this art form as a career but we welcome those that just want to learn so they can have fun with it in their own home!
